St. Patty's Day PUG meeting

St. Patrick's Day is generally associated with four leaf clovers, green beer, and luck. Let me tell you that this St. Patrick's Day Jay and I were blessed with a ton of luck. We were the proud hosts of this month's CT PUG meeting. For those readers who are unsure of what a PUG meeting is it is a group of photographers who get together once a month at different locations. What happens at these meetings well the PUGs mission statement I guess sums it up the best in saying that the PUG is meant “to facilitate communication and education among professional photographers at a regional level around the nation in order to allow photographers to learn from each other and share experiences.” What is truly great about this group is photographers get the opportunity to network and build really good relationships and even friendships with others in their industry. These relationships make it an easy forum to share what has been working for you professionally and what you are struggling with and allows others to help you. But above all things the best part about the PUG is how much fun we have!! These meetings are always filled with laughing so hard that your stomach hurts and smiling and joking around with friends that understand your life as a photographer.
Well this month we were incredibly lucky for several reason first off Justin and Mary the leaders of our group were back in CT to lead our group after their super successful Spread the Love Tour. We were also super lucky because our speakers were the ever amazingly talented Jerome and Jennifer Braga of Studio 1923! They gave a great presentation similar to what they presented at Mystic 5 to a very packed living room/ dining room/ kitchen. (People were packed in everywhere and anywhere).

Check out this picture courtesy of Studio 1923 of our very packed living room!!!

Jay and I really enjoyed this St. Patrick’s day partying with our photography friends and we really want to extend a huge heartfelt thanks to everyone that came and made this a successful PUG meeting and another huge thank to the Braga’s who were fricking amazing!!!! See you all next month!!!!!!
