Saturday Shooting Takes on compo beach

On Saturday February 28, 2009 we took our shooting adventures to Compo Beach in Westport, CT. Joining us this week was Chris, Mikey, Deborah, and Kori. What we thought was particularly interesting was that back in West Haven we had bright blue skies and fairly warm weather considering it was February, however as soon as we got in to Westport it was clear that we did not wear enough layers, because it was freezing.

One of the first places we stopped to warm up and get ready for the shoot was a little gazebo type thing. It had some fabulous architecture, the beams on the ceiling were very cool and the arch ways and window made for some great pictures.

Here is Kori, taking some pictures of us running around in the Gazebo

While we were playing in the Gazebo we all took turns posing in the arch ways I think Kori looks amazing!

I love how Jay looks here

I laid on the ground to get this shot and I think it came out really well!

Of course there were some shenanigans because we do like to have fun on these trips so Mikey and Chris decided that they were gymnasts and proceeded to run, jump, and flip over and off anything they found. First it was the fencing that let patrons of the beach know where the dog area was.

Then we went over to the rocks and had a ton of fun climbing the rocks, and jumping off of them as well as playing in the sand.

Chris definitly had me worried all I could think of was that we did not have an ambulance standing by

I love this shot and the way you see his shadow in the sun

Leap frog is not just for children anymore well maybe it still is. Anyways Mikey and Chris were all about Leapfrog on Saturday

Here is Debbie taking a few shots of the boys jumping off the rocks...
