Joshua's 1rst Birthday

This past Saturday Jay and I had the opportunity to photograph Baby Joshua. For those of you who follow our blog will know that we did a shoot with Joshua when he was a month old and then even before that we did his Mommy’s maternity shoot! We love have lifelong clients and watching families grow and baby’s become toddlers. It was a privilege to shoot Joshua for his first birthday and we can’t wait for the next time we get to shoot him!

Joshua rocking out with his alphabet blocks

I love how he looks in this shot, it is one of those “me, nope wasn’t me” shots
And what soon to be one year old doesn’t like balloons.

AHHHHHH cake, bubbles, and balloons WHAT!?!?!?!

Love this shot! Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday to Joshua, happy birthday to you!!!!

Happy First Birthday Joshua and Congratulation to Mommy and Daddy on a successful 1rst year as parents Joshua is wonderful.

Liz and Joe's Wedding

Back in November, Jay and I shot this amazingly intimate wedding at the Crosby Street Hotel. Let me tell you this hotel was absolutely gorgeous and there were so many awesome opportunities to capture amazing photos. So without further ado let get to the good stuff.

She had a totally beautiful dress!

Taking advantage of the big beautiful windows in her room

Loved the flowers!

This future momma looked absolutely stunning as a bride!

A rotary phone was the perfect stage for the ring shot!

The reading room had these amazing red couches that we totally had to take advantage of and Liz was more than happy to pose!

So we are going to wrap up this blog post with a kiss.
Congratulations Liz and Joe. We wish you both many years of happiness and the best of luck with your new little one.

Mitchell Family gets their Portrait on

A long while ago Jay and I, gave a photo shoot away to a lucky winner at a car show in Shelton, CT. The lucky winner’s was the fabulously awesome Mitchell Family. We were all finally able to get together recently to take pictures of this amazing family. We had such a great time doing everything from playing on the swing set, to going for wagon rides to the family just enjoying being together.

Meet Addy! Here she is doing her thing, and cutting the grass! :0)

Emily's Baby Shower

A few weeks ago Jay and I had the pleasure of shooting a spectacularly pink baby shower at Waterzooi Belgian Bistro for Emily and her little sprinkle. Let me tell you between the awesome food and the totally amazing details this was an amazing baby shower.

Emily, is pregnant with her second child and this little sprinkle is going to be a beautiful baby girl. She is going to be coming into a huge loving family and a big brother that cannot wait to meet her.
The proud big brother

The amazing spread! They even had a waffle sundae bar complete with chocolate syrup, caramel, whip cream, oreos! They even had an omelet bar!

The proud mommy and daddy

Emily opening her special gift from Julie, it was Grandma’s pearls re-giffted. To see everyone’s face when she opened it and realized it was grandma’s priceless!

Loved the beautiful towel cake!

Emily, we cannot wait to meet your little princess! Good luck in the next few weeks we hope they go by fast!

Twisted Tales-- North Haven Academy Paul Mitchell Partner School

A few weeks ago Jay and I had the opportunity to again shoot North Haven Academy Paul Mitchell Partner School hair show. This seasons theme was Twisted Tales. The school did an amazing take on creaping out our childhood fairy tales and turning them into our worst nightmares. Of course a huge part of the show was the make up and the fantabulous hair designs by the students. Take a look at some of the awsome looks that the students came up with and be sure to check out the school if you are interested in being involved in there next production or if you are interested in becoming a student!!!

Love this shot

Zombies

Creepiness

The Gingerbread Children

The ugly step sisters

More zombie children

Haunted trees

One of the girls waiting to have her makeup finished

The wolf! This makeup, body painting, and mask design was done by amazing Klayton Andrew. He is a graduate of the school and actually is doing make up for the Radio City Christmas Spectacular!! How totally awsome is that. Klayton was actually the artistic makeup designer for the entire twisted tales production and him and his team and of course the students totally did a kick a$$ job!

One of the zombie children on the swing set!

Thank you again to North Haven Academy Paul Mitchell Partner School for allowing us to be apart of your awsome production! We can not wait until the next one!

Getting to known Christine and Jay

We actually met this fabulous couple and specifically Christine at Beauty Entourage’s Bridal Show, she was the winner of our free engagement session! We were so glad that she won because we had an absolutely amazing time hanging out with them even though Jay wanted to get taco bell and get home to his football game but, he was a great sport and really stuck it out and we are glad he did because we had fun hanging out with them.

So let’s meet this couple!

Walking around enjoying the fall foliage!

Love this shot of them!

Chilling at the top of the tower

Hanging out for a second in the tower! Love these moments.

Watch out here comes the ring shots!!!

Loved how this ring shot turned out

We ended our time at a lake at the end of the park. Love the reflection in the lake.

Thank you so much Christine and Jay!!! We had such a great time and loved exploring Hubbard Park with you.
