Fun Head Shots!

Jay and I love when we can work with other professional and help make their ideas a reality! With this shoot we were able to do just that! Tiffany is a make up artist that we have worked with on several shoots and she is fricking awesome! If you need a MUA for anything you should totally hit her up!!!! Anyways she wanted some headshots for her portfolio and we were only happy to help her out. So we came up with some ideas and picked a day and this is what we came up with!!

Tori is just awesome! With Tori we did a fun gold flake look with a dark lip and boy did Tori work it!

First off check out Tori’s awesome lashes courtesy of the fabulous Tiffany!

Got to love the gold flakes on the side of the face!

So Jay and I had this awesome oriental fabric laying around and thought that Tori’s look would go totally awesome with the fabric and I really think it came out awesome!

With Ruhana we went for a more wet water look! Seriously check out those lashes!

Ruhana was a total trooper. We were spraying her with water and she just smiled and posed! Truly amazing!

I always find it amazing how small the world truly is. We actually found Diana on model mayhem and coincidentally she is also an EMT like Jay and myself and she took her class in Shelton, CT which is where I have worked for several years!

So for Diana we did an animal print look! Tiffany totally rocked the make up and Diana was able to model through all that make up for some truly awesome shots!

Love how she was working the camera

Got to love an innovative husband. I thought the hair needed something and raided the art supply closet and found some cool wire and Jay thought of the women with the gold rings around there necks and came up with this really cool hairpiece. Yeay hunny!!!

We love when our future brides are up for some crazy shoots and Vikki is no exception! I am pretty sure she went above and beyond what any of us expected for the afternoon! She actually did 3 separate looks and finished with a bang!
Vikki’s first look was very soft!

Here is the same look but in a come to Jesus sort of way!

Then Tiffany added some cool blue airbrushing, and some flowers from my mom’s garden (sorry Mom!) for a different look!

Vikki is such a natural!

Okay so for look 3 we wanted to play around with the wet paint look!

So after getting the effect we were looking for I throughout the idea that Vikki should smear the pain all over her face. I had no idea that she would actually do it!

I mean seriously we were all like a bunch of kids finger painting! It really was a lot of fun!

Yea!!! I couldn’t believe it but was totally in love with how it came out! Thank you Vikki for playing around! I hope you were able to wash the red tint from your skin!

So if you are a follower of our bligity blog would know that Jay and I generally bring around our pal Mort (see our Salem trip) on vacations! Well Mort decided to make a guest appearance at our shoot. Check out him posing without models! Big shout out to all our models who were such good sports!

Thank you EVERYONE who helped us pull this shoot together!

Amy's Baby Bump

Recently Jay and I got the opportunity to hang out with Amy who is expecting her beautiful bundle of joy on October 2, 2010! We had such a good time hanging out and being silly!

Without further ado, Mrs. Amy’s Baby Bump!

So of course we had to play with some fabric!

Love how the black robe looked! Especially when we added wind! 

And now for the revealing of the little one’s name!

In case you were curious the theme of little Nicholas’s room is going to be Winnie the Pooh!

Really liked the look of this shot!

A great adventure is truly about to begin for Amy and Steve! Love how this picture came out!

Thank you Amy for spending your afternoon with us! We had such a great time! We look forward to meeting baby Nicholas in the next few weeks!

Fun times at an Industrial space

Okay so when I started this idea I realized it was probably going to be a few part installment so make sure to check back for more. But the idea for this series came from the song Lady Marmalade.

Meet Melissa this was actually her first photo shoot ever! She was such a great sport and a ton of fun to work with!

Tori was so poised in this first shot! Love it!

Melissa laid down in the hall and we were able to grab this shot!

We had an awesome door that the girls worked!

Totally rocking the wall!

Go Melissa!

Tori rocking some shots while we were up on a ladder!

There was actually this really cool wall at the industrial space we were at and Jay just had to grab a picture!

Here is Tori rocking the wall!

Maura and Sal Get Married!!

Maura and Sal are a fun loving couple and together are a definite force to be reckoned with. There story begins at a Coffee shop that Maura managed where in walks Sal to get a coffee and well it was all over from there. It wasn't long until they went on their first date to Temple Bar for wine and food and were forever smittened with each other. Sometime later after some fun dates mini golfing Sal and Maura went to a Red Sox game where he hid the ring in a bucket of popcorn and after a near miss (Maura almost ate the ring) Sal popped the question and guess what she said YES!!!
So that is what led us all here to the Boston Botanical Gardens in front of the most beautiful angel fountain ever. We were privileged to be asked to come out and shoot the ceremony for such an awsome couple and with out further ado the pictures!

Maura getting ready to meet the man she will marry!

Got to love the moments that a father has with his daughter as he walks the last few steps with her as a single woman!

All the little girls waiting for the bride to arrive!

One of the things that truly made Maura and Sal’s ceremony special aside from the absolutely beautiful location of the Boston Botanical Garden’s was that Maura’s brothers presided over the ceremony that would end with pronouncing there sister as a married woman!

Of course we had to have some fun and take advantage of the awesome location!

Okay Maura had the most amazing back piece and I loved how the back of her dress framed the beautiful art!

Hanging out by the trees!

Ring a ling got to love the rings!

I really cannot ever say it enough! We love our couples, they are not afraid to be a little wacky and have fun!

Congratulations Maura and Sal! We wish you many years of love and happiness!
