So a few weeks ago Jay and I had the pleasure of shooting Beauty Entourage's Bridal Show! Every Year Beauty Entourage give there future brides the opportunity to see the latest trends hitting the aisle and whats to come! There fashion show featured a wide range of styles and looks. Getting to know Vicki and Tom

Last weekend we had the pleasure of hanging out and capturing some photos with Vicki and Tom and the ever adorable Mikey!

So we started out by taking Mikey and of course his mommy and daddy to the park, where we had a great time capturing pictures and letting Mikey run around! The only thing was that pretty white fuzzy flowers and a lot of creepy bugs crawling on them… yuck!

Next stop was Lyman Orchard in Middletown.

Where of course there was delicious apples which made for a great ring shot!

As well as plenty of pumpkins in all shapes and colors!

So while I was preoccupied with the beautiful rings Jay stole Vicki and Tom to grab some pictures by the apple boxes! No not the ones you drink the ones that you collect the apples in! :0)

We really enjoyed wandering around the main grounds of Lyman Orchards! We were able to capture some great moments!

First we went over and were just goofing around by the Apple Barrel sign!

Apple picking with Lucas

With today officially being the first day of fall. We thought what better way to usher in the new season then with a real fall blog post and this past weekend we had the opportunity to go enjoy what fall has to offer and shoot a past client of ours, baby Lucas! He is getting so big and we were thrilled with the opportunity to go with him and his parents on their first pumpkin/ apple picking trip at Silverman’s Farm in Easton, CT!

Sometimes it is nice to just relax as a family and eat some red delicious apples! In an orchard that smells of fresh apple pies and fall!

Steph and Ryan Get Married

Stephanie and Ryan met through a friend while in Newport, Rhode Island! Some would definitely say it was fate and after a few times of planning the wedding all the details finally came together on July 31, 2010 while in Cape Cod, Massachusetts.

We love when couples opt to do the first look! Not only is it awesome because we have more time with the couple but I love being able to truly see the surprised grooms face when he turns around and sees his beautiful bride!


There was this totally awesome barn near where Stephanie and Ryan got married! It totally made for an awesome back drop!

Don't stop believing

Wow, I cannot believe that it has been a year already. These past 365 days have flown by literally and how we made it through some of the tough times truly lets me know that what we have is something special and what that boils down to is friendship and a lot of communication. (Which sometimes I am sure Jay would just wish I would shut up because I love communicating everything lol!) I mean yes we definitely have our differences he is dirty clothes on the floor, toilet seats left up, and dishes in the sink not in the dish washer and socks stuffed in the cushions of the couch (yuck!) but I leave tons of filled water cups next to the bed, I leave my shoes in the hallway(that jay trips on) and don’t shut the cabinets all the ways (which jay walks into lol I know it's not funny but it makes me laugh lol) and I don’t always remember to shut off the lights and even with all of our differences and all of our imperfections we fit! And I sure do love him!

In our first year of marriage I do not like to think much has changed but I can tell you that it has. We have grown together and grown up. We have had our ups and downs and our good days and bad days but through it all there is no one in the world I would rather wake up next to then him. He maybe many things but he is my rock and I give it some roll sometimes to much roll and I would not want it any other way!

So in the hopes of wanting to relive the day that my life changed and I married my best friend! Check out some of our awesome wedding photos that were taken by none other than the fabulous Carla Ten Eyck and her team!

So we both started off our days in style Jay had a luxury shave and hair cut while I got pampered having my makeup and hair done!

And then in one exchange its official!

Not sure how catholic it was to climb the walls of the church but this picture really just kicked ass!

As I have always said Jay has a rough, wild and crazy side….hehehehe just kidding he is the biggest teddy bear. Anyways I swear he doesn’t like tattoos!

Alright I had to throw this picture in! It was one of my favorite pictures of me and my cousin/ god daughter Kylie!

Alright with after several months of dance lessons click here to see the video we preformed our first dance to none other than Don’t Stop Believing!

Another high point was of course our parent dances!

I think someone had a little fun with the garter removal! But if you think that’s fun you should have seen my maid of honor. She had one hot and steamy garter dance as she put the garter on the guy who won it! (yes it was her boyfriend)

Carla and her team did a sneak attack when they caught this moment of Jay and I!
